I enjoy contests. When Carolyn Tann-Starr announced the Club Chaos Fall 2008 Eye Candy Contest I knew I had to enter! The contest rules require originals. Well, these pics are not only my own, but we own the view as well! These photos are the back yard of our Columbia River home, a home we have listed to sell.
I've enjoyed photography from a novice's perspective, and I've enjoyed capturing the varying looks of the Columbia River from a our back yard. I probably have a few hundred of these, however, the following images were taken within the past couple of weeks. As I write this post all the leaves are gone, but I managed to capture the essence of fall color before the last leaves fell.
Here is my offering of 2008 fall images from different days, varying times, and various weather conditions. My favorite is the last one! Enjoy.

I am the Realtor® that makes things move in The Lane Real Estate Team, while my husband Joe is the dude that provides the marketing that gives me the great clients I have. My sole purpose in life is to serve God, family, and clients. Joe's sole purpose in life is to serve God, me, and family (and ski). We have five children, all at home, all ours. We've been happily married for 23 years, and Joe has forgotten the anniversary almost all of those years! We service the Tri Cities Washington real estate market to include Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco, Washington. Oh, our Pasco Wa Columbia River Home is for sale!

Too cool....I'm into photog quite a bit. I love the different perspectives. Very nice.
Thanks Larry. The same camera shot throughout the year has provided me many unique pictures.
Colleen - you are making me want to move back there. Love the Columbia River, terrific scenes from almost anywhere along it. What a terrific location and view you are blessed with. I am not sure which of the last two are my favorites of these.
Thanks Mike. Some of my favorites are not pictured here as the occasional snow fall we receive every year lends itself to great Columbia River pics.
Perhaps Carolyn of Club Chaos will have a Winter Photo Contest? [hint, hint] :)
Colleen: The hint has been taken. Gear up for the Winter Eye Candy Contest bay-bay! (LMAO) Sames rules, same points will be negotiated once we finish this one, okay? Gotta get approval from AR. Will keep you all posted. :-)
BTW, these photographs are spanking!
Great perspectives on the same scene. I love the last two. Great job!
Very cool Carolyn!
I should have a couple good options for a winter pics contest. On Christmas day there are some funny Columbia river photos to be had, as folks can't wait till warm weather to try their Christmas presents out. In 15-20ish degree weather, excited water recreation enthusiasts are on the Columbia river wake boarding, water skiing, fishing, and otherwise freezing there asses off!
Or, my husband's on the National Ski Patrol and patrols a nearby resort. When he is on early patrol (patrolling before the resort's opening) he snaps these incredible powder pics before any tracks are made. Nothing like being one of two or three people at the top of the mountain on a powder day.
I kick myself in the butt for procrastination. I noticed last night Jeremy was the only video entry. All a person had to do was post a video and at least 1000 points were guaranteed. Tell Jeremy this will be the last time he is the only video in one of these contests. lol :o)
Thanks Sharon. The sunsets here are spectacular. ;)
Wow - you have a beautiful back yard view! Incredible pics. Good luck in the contest Colleen :)
Thanks Kara. Good luck is what I'll need as there are some great photos in the contest.
Colleen & Joe ~ Very cool guys. I especially like the sunset reflection photo.
Thanks Ryan. I was just noticing yesterday the leaves are now officially gone. :( Oh well, skiing season here we come!
These are all some very beautiful photographs and I am happy to say once again..................
"Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family"
Beautiful shots! What a great view you get to enjoy :~)
Nice back yard ya gotta love that, the photo's are real nice
You see that everyday?

Beautiful pictures - and especially that last one. Thanks!
Not much to say except that those photos make we want to gou out there....at least to visit.
