Have A Remembering Memorial Day

Notable quote from below:

"Today, remember the military, especially those who lost a loved one, and/or those who have been permanently disabled by war. And of course, reach out and touch someone who is currently serving."

Enjoy and have a memorable Memorial Day...

Via Joe Lane (The Lane Real Estate Team):

Remembering Memorial DayI truly remember those who are currently serving, and who have served our country in the past. I'm a former Marine and am thankful for what the Marine Corps did in my life. The saying, "Once a Marine, always a Marine" rings true with me. I have been out of the Marines for the better part of 30 years and the discipline, leadership, and personal development have been the hallmark of decision making in my life.

Remembering On Memorial Day
When I joined the military in 1977 those who trained us were fresh out of Vietnam. The fortunate ones made it back to continue on in the military, while those less fortunate did not. The stories I had the opportunity to hear of first-hand accounts of war made an indelible impact on my life. When my tour of duty was finished I lived outside Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base for 25 of the last 30 years and continued working with Marines while employed at the Marine Corps Exchange and later on as a General Building contractor in North San Diego County. I had many friends who went on to tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. I remember all of them.

Today, remember the military, especially those who lost a loved one, and/or those who have been permanently disabled by war. And of course, reach out and touch someone who is currently serving.
