Hansen Park Homes in Kennewick Washington are located in the southwest area of Kennewick in what was once (and in part, still is) a fruit orchard owned by the Hansen family. The family has since sold portions to developers and maintains a plan for development that will cover the next 20 years. The Hansens have owned the land since the 1950s. One of the highlights of Hansen Park is it's large 26 acre park (see below) dedicated the Hansen's late father.

Hansen Park could be considered an upper class community with some multi-family properties built for good measure. Most homes are single family homes in the 'affordable' range, however, as homes are built the real estate purchase cost is in the range of $300k and up! In addition to single family homes there are townhomes designed for senior citizens with assisted living options.

Hansen Park is a subdivision of Kennewick Washington, where many consider Kennewick to be the 'hub' of the Tri Cities. Kennewick is located south to southwest of the Columbia river giving Hansen Park just a few minute ride to the recreation Columbia river offers. Also, Hansen Park is minutes from much of what Kennewick has to offer in way of shopping and services. In fact, some of Kennewick's shopping is within walking distance of Hansen Park.

One aspect of Hansen Park I am most excited about is the City of Kennewick's plan to develop the open acreage into a public Kennewick Park. From the city's website, I post the following maps (click for larger views):

Tri Cities Washington Real Estate Agent
When dealing with clients, education is the key. The more I know and the more I share with my clients then the more they know. In turn, by educating myself I am also educating my clients.

Realtors® who cram in their education just to 'get their clock hours done' are doing themselves and their clients a disservice by not making the most of the education opportunity handed to them.  Agents, education is a good thing!

By not getting out what you can from education Realtors® are ultimately costing themselves money. Additionally, a lack of education can cause clients to be unhappy with their agent and therefore not recommend them to their friends, coworkers, and family members.

Creekstone, Kennewick Washington Homes For Sale

The Creekstone Community in Kennewick Washington is one of Tri Cities' premier master planned communities. I've brought many of my clients through Creekstone and my clients have always been impressed. Creekstone is comprised of single family homes built by approved community builders. The community includes and is not limited to miles of landscaped walking trails, meticulously maintained parks, fitness stations, basketball courts, and much more. On site RV and boat parking is also available.has everything from time and time again.

East Kennewick Washington's Finest
Creekstone is located in East Kennewick and conveniently located to types of shopping, commerce, and services. The community falls within the school boundaries of the Kennewick School District and most children with attend either Lincoln Elementary School, Desert Hills Middle School and/or Southridge High School. Of course, boundaries change, so please confirm school boundaries before making a home purchase decision based on school enrollment.

Creekstone Events
Creekstone living is fun living. Creekstone organizes a yearly calendar of events that include fun activities. For instance, this month's newsletter includes, Bunco Night, Meet and Greet, Neighborhood Yard Sale & Recycle Day, Yard of the Month, Flowers Demonstration, etc. Parties, picnics, and festivals are planned on a regular basis.

Creekstone Homeowners Association
Creekstone's HOA is well managed and exercise due diligence to keep property values up. For instance, your new neighbor will not be permitted to make certain changes without HOA approval. Staying within the framework of the community you purchase into helps maintain property values at their highest. I've heard good thing about Creekstone's HOA board.
